I've got 8 days to get my kradambigbang beta'd and finished. I still need to write 1 and a half parts of it.

(Let's not even talk about the fact that I have another 2 and a half fics to write for nukebigbang PLUS a fanmix to make.)

But instead of writing I am re-reading the awesomest Kirk/Spock kid!fic and trying to pack to move. Did I mention I'm moving? Yeah...

'Cause those things rocked in letting others know not to bother you (at least in the office I worked at) when you weren't up to human interaction. I miss those charts.

So, this was my day.

I have always had an immense respect for teachers even before I wanted to be one.

But I got to say that having to deal with a teenager every day as the authorative position they want to hate on, I fucking think teachers should be canonized.

For real.

I've known them since I was fifteen years old and I love them a lot. I think they are one of the best people I've ever met. We've been through A LOT together in seventeen years.

...what's the point of marriage, again? Why does anyone do it if after 40 years of marriage (or 30 or 25 or 20 or 2) you just up and say "We don't want to be married anymore?"

It's a serious question. Part of me doesn't understand what you couldn't have learned BEFORE being married 40 years that suddenly AT 40 years of marriage makes you kinda give up.

This is why I just don't believe in it. Seriously. I mean, I believe in YOUR right, in anyone's right to get married if they so choose. I believe EVERYONE should be able to make that choice.

I just don't understand why you would want to when it just seems that more and more it's proven to just not matter.
